Steve Adolph and Matt Leuck loved baseball. So, in the summer of 1997, they made plans to tour our country’s ballparks when Matt's son, Brandon graduated high school. In the summer of 1998, Matt was diagnosed with brain cancer. He died February of '99. This summer of 2011, Steve and 19-year-old Brandon leave for that trip. Mid-trip, they will meet Brandon's sister, Lauren, along with Steve's g-daughter, daughter, and wife in DC for sightseeing and more baseball. This is an account of that trip.

Fenway Park
Went to the Redsox game vs. the Athletics. One of the best games we have ever seen! Redsox won in 14 innings, 9-8. Going to Freedom Trail tomorrow before leaving for the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.
Amazing pictures....Wow! what a game that must have been. Cooperstown should be great considering Brandon has always wanted to go. Looking forward to seeing pics B..
Okay, you two history buffs... Did you stand at the dock of Boston Harbor, pretend it was the year 17whatever, and shake an angry fist across the pond at the British Empire? Okay, that would have been kind of weird; but, that's why I could have seen Brandon doing it.
