Chicago!

June 16th and 17th
Millennium Park:
Saw beautiful Millennium Park. Since it sits atop a parking garage and the commuter rail it's considered the world's largest rooftop garden.
Wrigley Field:
Also went to two Cubs games.  I tried to enjoy the park even though they beat my Yankees!

 Good-bye D.C.!
Boys head off to Union Station, while the girls head to the airport.

Stuck in Atlanta! Bad weather grounded us for 12 hours in Atlanta airport. Spent the night in the  terminal.  It was freezing! Julie and Jacs almost missed their scheduled trip to Hawaii!  The airlines rerouted them to Las Vegas and they made their Hawaiian flight (11 hours later) by 5 minutes!  Hey...it was an adventurous end to a marvelous and unforgettable trip!

Tuesday, June 14
Arlington Cemetery - a military cemetery established on the grounds of General Lee's residence largely out of Union General Meigs' bitterness and revenge during the Civil War.
The first graves were vengefully placed around Lee's wife's garden which she loved.

Phillies vs. Cubs

The Cubs won 4-3 in extra innings. During the game these two guys behind us talked the entire game. At one point there were two outs and a ground ball was hit and one of the guys say Yes! double play ball. Later, some fans started to get the wave going and the same guy said "I think that's so disrespectful when people do that they should be watching the game". Also there was a 77 minutes rain delay half way through the game.

D-backs vs. Pirates

Joe Saunders placed a cup on Kelly Johnson's hat without him knowing.

We attended the Pirates vs Dbacks game. The Pirates won 3-2 on a walkoff homerun by Andrew McCutchen.

As the Diamondbacks were warming up in Pittsburgh, Brandon called out at two of our players; and when the players saw Steve and B's DBacks' shirts, they tossed them each a ball!
